Happy birthday to the first lady in my life. We usually are there for her birthday but we are traveling this year. I wanted to write an extra post for an extra special person.
Dear Mom,
You end this year with amazing accomplishments – completing your Masters in Business Administration, traveling to incredible places (Alaska, Dominican Republic), and getting the floors redone at the house. We have survived many things and you are always the first to come to my rescue.
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be here physically and geographically (in the U.S.).
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have grown up strong and independent.
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t be as feisty as I am.
If it weren’t for you, I would have settled for less.
If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have pride in my work.
You are an inspiration. You are a fighter. You are a love of my life. You are my mom.
I hope next year brings you just as much joy as this year because you deserve it and so much more! Thank you for everything.
